Perceiving the Divine

Perceiving the Divine is currently on at John Wayne Airport from October 11, 2024 through February 24, 2025.

This exhibit was birthed from the persistent conviction that we are all human, we are all made from stardust; and that our outward expressions of beauty and love should be celebrated - for they are what truly make up humanity. This collection of artwork ideates on the possibilities of humanity, outside of boundaries, borders, labels, and limitations. While the figures and forms on view are found draped in luscious color, layered fabric, and intricate designs, altogether they work to pull back the veil to reveal the inner core of what truly makes us human. The curator’s hope is that viewers will take this opportunity to imagine the possibilities of humankind and maybe even spend time sitting in self-reflection.
